Use 28 October 2026 as the standalone Free Fire India launch date. The 5 September 2023 date belongs to the postponed plan, while 15 November 2026 is the scheduled end of the launch Diwali event rather than a release date.

Context
Why the launch date has a backstory
The India relaunch was not a renamed global listing. After the original Free Fire app was removed in India in 2022, Garena announced a separate build with India-region accounts, local hosting plans and additional safety controls. The first public plan targeted 5 September 2023, but the release was postponed while gameplay and localization were refined.
The current launch record is 28 October 2026 for version 1.134.1. The App Store listing appeared on 27 October, and the launch video announced downloads from 28 October on Google Play and iOS. The opening Diwali event was scheduled to run through 15 November 2026.
Standalone India relaunch

Player answer
Reading the ledger
The 2023 entries are milestones from the original relaunch plan, not alternate launch dates for the live India app. The 5 September date belongs to the postponed plan; it should not be used as the current release date.
The 2026 entries separate store availability, the public launch announcement and the event end date. That distinction matters when a player is checking whether the app is live, which version to install or how long the launch event is scheduled to last.
