STRIKESLaunch briefing
A launch update built around four player tasks
Nine Tails Strikes is the Naruto Shippuden collaboration that shipped with the Free Fire India launch build. The useful way to read it is by match situation: Battle Royale has new map interactions and revival tools, Clash Squad changes the purchase-and-fight rhythm, random drops add another reason to rotate, and character updates change familiar abilities.
The collaboration also adds a documented ninja arsenal. Sharingan: Control is a Battle Royale map pickup; the ninjutsu cards create short, readable combat windows; shuriken and kunai fill secondary-weapon roles. The table below keeps each named tool tied to its recorded damage or effect, so a player can choose a tool by what it changes in a fight rather than by a made-up tier label.
01 / BATTLE ROYALE
Battle Royale changes
The Hidden Leaf Village returns to Bermuda as a playable point of interest, and the Ninja Academy adds an interaction with a lasting movement benefit. Its swing grants a permanent 5% movement-speed boost, so the value is tied to reaching and using the landmark rather than simply landing nearby. Sharingan: Control is the major combat pickup: after a five-second warning it directs a Tailed Beast Bomb at a selected area, then leaves flame spots that punish anyone who stays in the radius.
Reanimation Revival Points add a recovery route for squads. Capturing one raises a stone coffin that revives an eliminated teammate with brief protection and supplies. That makes the point an objective worth contesting, not a generic respawn promise. The data ledger lists the individual ninjutsu cards separately so the close-range shield, dash, burn and slow effects stay easy to compare.

02 / CLASH SQUAD
Clash Squad changes
Clash Squad brings the collaboration into the round-by-round economy through ninja tools that can be selected and used as part of a compact fight plan. 8 Trigrams Palm Rotation is the clearest defensive example: it dashes forward, spins a two-second chakra shield, knocks enemies back, absorbs bullets and deflects some throwables. That is a different job from a damage-first card, so the effect matters more than a single headline number.
The launch material also places Hidden Leaf Village elements and scroll-driven drops into the mode’s visual language. Read the tool ledger with the match context in mind: Chidori blocks Gloo Walls and the minimap for three seconds, while Cherry Blossom Clash is a lower-damage dash that knocks an enemy back.

03 / METEORS & AIRDROPS
Meteor and airdrop changes
Nine Tails Strikes also changes how players read the sky and the next loot contest. Meteor events create a visible reason to rotate, while the airdrop update changes what a squad can expect from a high-risk supply route. The launch brief groups these with Sonar and Flame Grenades and the party train: they are match-flow changes that affect information, movement and contest timing, not new permanent map locations.
Use the event systems as signals. A meteor or special drop can pull several teams toward one area, so the best decision is to read the surrounding cover and the current zone before committing. No unsupported drop coordinates are added here; the guide keeps the verified mechanic and leaves strategy to the map and mode conditions in your match.

04 / CHARACTER UPDATES
Character updates
The event is not only a map overlay. The OB55 launch notes also carry character and balance changes, while the Naruto collaboration adds a reward choice between the Jiraiya Bundle and the new Hinata Bundle. Blue Bird plays while parachuting and the NARUTO Main Theme plays in the lobby, giving the collaboration a presence before the first fight.
For a practical loadout decision, start with the documented tool effect, then check the character roster for the skill you already understand. The goal is not to declare a universal best build: the India launch records describe specific tools, landmark interactions and rewards, and those are the parts that can be checked against the release material.
